It is usually sold in rolls and placed onto a wall using an adhesive. If you are a DIYer, we can help you choose the right adhesive for your project.

Vinyl wallpaper

Vinyl comes in four varieties and is very popular:

Solid vinyl contains nothing more than vinyl. It’s waterproof, scratch-resistant, very durable, and easy to clean. It’s ideal for moist, humid environments.
Vinyl coated is made of paper and coated with vinyl. It should be lightly and infrequently cleaned, making it good for light traffic areas like a bedroom.
Paper-backed vinyl is solid vinyl with paper attached to the back. It is stain and grease resistant and easy to clean, but not appropriate for bathrooms.
Fabric-backed vinyl is solid vinyl with a sheet of fabric attached to the back. It’s ideal for covering walls that are less than perfect because of its thickness.
