RECLAIM

Take advantage of Second-Look through two exciting programs.  Select new wall covering with recycled content from Second-Look's wide selection of designs, colors and textures.  In Addition, you may choose to participate in the Second-Look Retrieval Program.  This allows you to send used vinyl wall covering from your renovation project to LSI to be reclaimed and recycled into new wall covering.  Reclaiming wall covering diverts it from the landfill and helps ensure a sufficient supply of recycled material for new Second-Look wall covering.

Reclaiming wall covering is easy.  Send an 8" x 10" sample of the used wall covering you would like to return.  LSI accepts any manufacturer's vinyl wall covering, but screens all samples to ensure they meet environmental quality standards.  Go to www.secondlookwc.com for a form and the mailing address.

Once LSI approves your material for Second-Look, you will receive shipping instructions and customized return packaging.  Just strip your walls as you normally would but keep wall covering separate from other construction debris.  It's that simple.  LSI works directly with your contractor to answer questions and facilitate the Second-Look Retrieval Program.

The low-VOC wall covering comes with indoor air quality (IAQ) enhancing technologies.  Second-Look is treated with a mildew-inhibiting agent that protects against fungal and microbiological growth.  Water-based inks and adhesives also reduce VOCs.  In addition, Permavent (TM) microventing can be specified to help prevent mobile moisture in walls.

In addition to specifying recycled wall covering, you have the option of participating in the Second-Look retrieval program.  Simply send your previously installed vinyl wall covering to be recycled into new Second-Look designs.  Reclaiming old wall covering and specifying recycled wall covering both support LEED criteria and the emerging recycling requirements of states and municipalities.
